Song Samples

I finally got around to finishing posting links to the song suggestions part of the website.  I had most of the songs linked to MP3 samples on Amazon.com, but not all.  Simply click the music note to listen to a preview of the song.  If it’s the song you’re looking for, conveniently press the Buy button.  :-)

If you’re wondering why some of the links are for an Album and not for a specific song, it’s simple… not all artists allow Amazon.com (or any other vendor for that matter) to sell their music or specific albums via MP3’s. They want you to buy the entire album instead.  Most notably are the Beatles and Metallica… although you’re not likely to find Metallica on my list.

Photo Ideas

You found an old box or album of family photos.  You wanted to stop them from fading and so you had them digitized (scanned them into a computer).  Perhaps you had us (or someone else) do it for you or you did it yourself.  Now what?

The beauty of photos in digital format is the sheer versatility that it offers… Watch this space. I’ll be posting some ideas I have as I come up with them.  If you’re too impatient, I’ve created a new page on our website to act as a landing page for all these ideas.  Expect the list to grow over time…  Check it out when you get a chance.

Our order forms are now 12.5% greener

For our slideshow packages, we’ve updated the order forms slightly.  The typical form has been reduced from 8 pages to 7 pages… so if you print it out, you’ll be consuming 12.5% less paper than before!  Sorry, I’ve tried slimming it down as much as I can.  If you have suggestions, email me or leave me a comment below.

Slideshow Pricing Adjustments for 2009

After 3 years of no pricing adjustment, we’re having to adjust prices (but only slightly).  The good news is that the base pricing, scanning and adding photos is exactly the same – and those are the major components of our pricing for any given project.  The price adjustment was made to some of the add on components, such as title slides and captions… which require a bit more effort.
